Data Sources
Real Data Mode reads recent events already stored on your WordPress site. Availability depends on the installed integration and your TrueProof plan.
WooCommerce orders — Free
TrueProof can display recent WooCommerce orders whose status is processing or completed. Pending, failed, cancelled and refunded orders are not used as completed-purchase activity.
Approved reviews and comments — Free
Only approved comments and reviews are eligible. Pingbacks and trackbacks are excluded.
Easy Digital Downloads — Pro
Pro can use recent completed EDD sales when Easy Digital Downloads is active. The built-in action says “bought a product”, not a download title. Follow the EDD setup guide for status, look-back, licence and output checks.
New-user registrations — Pro
Pro can use recent WordPress user registrations. A registration does not prove payment, membership eligibility or verified email ownership. Review spam registrations before using this source.
Fields shown to visitors
New TrueProof 2.4.0 installations default to Fully anonymous: “Someone” without city/country. Upgrades retain their earlier identity setting until changed. Short name and Full name are optional; email-shaped name values are suppressed in every mode. Review activity and relative time as well as identity in the public REST response. See the anonymous output guide and WooCommerce setup checklist.
Fields not shown
TrueProof does not display email addresses, full postal addresses or order totals in notification bubbles.
Look-back and caching
Events must fall inside the selected look-back window. Results are cached for three minutes, so a newly eligible event may not appear immediately.
