TrueProof Documentation
TrueProof displays recent activity stored on your WordPress site as notification bubbles. Start here, then open the detailed guide that matches your task.
Requirements
- WordPress 6.0 or newer.
- PHP 8.0 or newer.
- At least one supported source for Real Data Mode, or Simulation Mode for a labelled setup preview.
Installation
- In WordPress, open Plugins → Add New.
- Search for TrueProof, then install and activate it. You can also download it from WordPress.org.
- Open Settings → TrueProof.
Quick start
- Choose Real Data to use recent events from your site, or Simulation for sample preview events.
- Select the available data sources.
- Choose position, accent colour and timing.
- Select where the widget should appear, save, and check the front end in a private browser window.
Real Data vs Simulation Mode
Real Data Mode queries the sources enabled on your site. Simulation Mode generates explicitly worded sample events for configuration and preview. A visible “Demo” label is always shown on simulated notifications.
